During this 2 day event you will be given a full introduction on how potters create mugs on the wheel.

This course is ideal for someone who has attended one of my Throwing Experiences or who has had some previous experience on a different throwing course.

Friday 29th August - Through demonstration and practice you will be taught how to refine the art of forming on The Potters wheel. You will also be taught how to recycle your clay to enable you to practice your skills until you create the ideal shape for your mugs.

Saturday 30th August- You will be taught how to perfect the art of Turning. to create mugs to a professional standard. You will then be taught how to pull handles and have the opportunity to explore textures and colour.

There will be up to 6 people taking part and each person will have their own wheel to practice on. At the end of each session you can choose up to 4 mugs to be fired to compltion. Your work will be ready to collect from The Pottery about 3 weeks later, or can be posted at an extra cost.

We will take a lunch break of about 45 minutes on each day.
