During this 3.5 hour workshop you will be taught how to use slabs to create a large jug.
You will be shown how to prepare clay, shape it, and be helped to construct a large jug. As we go through this process you will also be shown various ways to decorate your jug, add a spout and a handle.
Throughout the class you will be given bespoke tutoring giving you ample opportunity to discuss any part of the process. As we navigate our way through the jug making you will also have the opportunity to experiment and explore surface decoration. This will include, the application of texture, ways to paint using underglazes and how to decorate using sgraffito techniques.
