This 3 week Tuesday evening curse is dedicated to those who have some throwing experience and would like to grow their skills. Please do not book if you have no previous experience.

The classes are small with two tutors who will take you through a series of exercises to help you understand the principles that allows you to throw bigger.

During these 3 sessions you will be encouraged to throw larger pieces to a dedicated form. We will focus on the principles of throwing big, creating a range of techniques including, ‘growing your weight’, compost pots and coil throwing.

Times 6pm till 9pm

At the end of the session you will choose your favourite pot to keep. We will fire it for you and apply a glaze. You may keep more of your makes but The Pottery will ask you for an electricity contribution.

Extra information: Parking is free, or the number 12 bus, stops near Waitrose.  You are then only 3 minutes away.  Tea, Coffee, apples and biscuits are always available. We will supply all materials, aprons etc.

Terms and Conditions: Unfortunately in the current climate I will be unable to offer a refund if you change your mind so please do not book unless you are sure that you can attend your session. However if you change your mind for any reason you can gift your experience to a third party.
