A day of sculpture and hands-on fun. Using specialist clay, you will learn how to prepare, shape, and build an original Salt Pig for your kitchen. You will be guided through techniques to make the Salt Pig functional and to add or change your design. There will be time to try spoon-making techniques, and you can discuss how a spoon might become part of your Salt Pig.

Our tutors will support you with demonstrations and one-to-one help. You will also explore surface decoration: adding texture, colour, underglazes, slips, and sgraffito to give your Salt Pig character.
