Explore the beauty of porcelain paper clay experimenting with its unique texture and ability to create the most intricate pieces. You will start the day exploring the clay to create flat decorations. As we work through the day you will start to form 3 dimentional pieces to create a Christmas Wreath You will be guided through a variety of techniques to enable you to create an original 3D wreath with a floral narrative.

Becks began working with porcelain whilst on her degree in 2014, despite all it‘s idiosyncrasies she has fallen in love with the ‘diva’ and has been working with it ever since. Along the way she has learnt many tricks of the trade that help with the forming and sculpting of this most prized of clays.

All work will be high fired within 3 weeks. Your work will be left mainly unglazed so that the clays translucent qualities can shine. We will however introduce you to some gold glaze which you can use as an option.
